Account Representative / Sales
Description
Purpose of the Position:
Responsible for all WDC1's targeted and geography based account activity within an assigned geographic territory. Overall responsibilities include meeting quota and revenue targets, prospecting and developing target accounts and developing strategic relationships with vendor partners to grow sales.
Essential Functions:
Meets or exceeds assigned sales quotas.
Develops relationships with WDC1's strategic partners to leverage their resources.
Provides continual feedback to Management on all competitive activities key to WDC1's success.
Develops and maintains a high level of product knowledge on WDC1's products as well as competitors' products.
Presents WDC1's capabilities at seminars, tabletop shows and to user groups.
Completes and submits on a timely basis all required reports such as forecasts, activity, compensation and expense reports.
Inputs, on a daily basis, all activities to include but not be limited to; meetings, contacts, calendar, travel, updates and forecasts into the contact sales management program.
Qualifications
Prior experience in selling computer hardware, software, solutions or services
College Degree or equivalent industry experience, 3+ years of sales experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail oriented, effective interpersonal skills, an energetic and enthusiastic individual.
