Return Policy and Conditions
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee from the original ship date for most merchandise. Certain restrictions apply to the products listed below. Please check through for more detail. After 30 days, only the manufacturer's warranty applies and no returns will be accepted.

A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RA#) must be obtained from here and is required for ALL returns. We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on returns. Merchandise must be returned within 15 days of the issuance of the RA# at which time the RA# expires. RA#'s are non-renewable.

We reserves the right to return any merchandise without a valid RA# to the customer or to prorate the credit.

All returned merchandise must be in the original packaging with the UPC or bar code intact. All components, manuals, registration card(s), software, cables & accessories must be included. Outpost.com inspects all returns and reserves the right to return merchandise that does not meet the criteria.

30 day money back guarantee does not apply to special orders.


Return Policies
All returns for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Removal or alteration of a product's serial number or serial number sticker will automatically void your Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) Return Policy. Products that are returned to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you.

Standard Return Policy

This is our Detailed Standard Return Policy. Unless another return policy is indicated, products sold by Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) are covered by this Standard Return Policy. Merchandise under this Standard Return Policy may be returned a) within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund, or b) within one year of the original invoice date for a replacement of the same item. All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Many manufacturers offer additional factory coverage. With regard to such, you should contact the manufacturer of your item directly for information regarding eligibility and specific Terms and Conditions.

Processors (CPUs) Return Policy
·         Return for refund within: 7 days
·         Return for replacement within: 30 days

This is our Detailed Processor (CPU) Return Policy. Physically damaged CPUs cannot be returned to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com).

Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent/broken pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) encounters bent pins regularly when inspecting physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may void your Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) return policy. Buyers requesting a refund may have to pay a 15% restocking fee. Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) will not cross-ship replacement CPUs.

Desktop PC, Notebook, and Tablet PC Return Policy

·         Return for replacement within: 30 days (defective items only)

This is our Detailed Desktop PC, Notebook and Tablet PC Return Policy. Under this policy all Desktop PCs/Notebooks/Tablet PCs are non-refundable, and this supersedes all other return policies. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Any Desktop PCs/Notebook/Tablet PC that is deemed defective may be returned for a replacement within 30 days only, but a request for refund will not be granted. If a Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC is returned for a replacement, but no problems are found, the Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC will be returned at your (the buyer's) expense. You should be certain in your decision to purchase a Desktop PC/Notebook/Tablet PC and must agree to this policy before completing your order. By confirming your order, you indicate your agreement to this policy.

A defective Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC that is returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced at Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com)'s discretion, unless otherwise required by law. We strive to uphold our standard RMA processing time for these types of items; however, in some situations the item must be sent to the manufacturer for repairs. Unfortunately Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) cannot expedite the RMA repair process in these situations, as we must abide by the manufacturer's established processing time. Consumable Items Return Policy

·         Return for replacement within: 30 days (item must be sealed & unopened)

This is our Detailed Consumable Items Return Policy. Consumable items are items such as Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges, CD/DVD Media, Paper Products etc. that are consumed once they are used. Consumable Items can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date if and only if the item is sealed and unopened in its original retail packaging Customer Service Department via Live Chat, Email or Phone for RMA information regarding consumable items.

Open-Box Items
·         Return for refund within: 15 days
·         Return for replacement within: non-replaceable

This is our Detailed Open Box Item Return Policy. Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) often sells items that are listed as "open-box." Because these items are sold at greatly reduced prices, they bear thislimited 15-day refund-only return policy through Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com). Such items can only be returned within 15 days of the applicable invoice date. Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) cannot provide replacement service for these items, as their stock is limited. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of these items is with the buyer. These items have been tested for functionality, but may have superficial physical defects including (but not limited to) scratches, dings or dents. Should these items prove defective following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, or Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com)) assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law. These items are not covered by any 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

If you purchase an Open-Box product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE item, meaning you will only receive the item itself. Accessories are NOT INCLUDED with Open-Box products, even if the missing accessory is required for the item to function properly.

Software Return Policy
·         Return Retail Software for refund within: 30 days (must be unopened)
·         Return OEM Software for refund within: non-refundable
·         Return Defective (Retail or OEM) Software for replacement within: 30 days

This is our Detailed Software Return Policy.
Opened Retail or OEM software can only be returned for replacement, and replacement RMAs will only be honored if the returned software is defective or damaged.
Retail Boxed software may only be returned for refund within 30 days of the invoice date if the packaging is unopened and factory sealed. No software returns will be accepted after 30 days.
OEM software is non-refundable once purchased and delivered. OEM versions are intended for system builders only and cannot be transferred to another PC once installed. Purchasers of this software are required to comply with the terms of the applicable System Builder License, including responsibility for providing all end-user support. Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) is not responsible for system/software incompatibility, and incompatibility issues do not qualify software as damaged or defective. Customers are encouraged to contact the respective Software Publisher for answers to technical questions, such as minimum system requirements, prior to purchase.

Bulk Item Return Policy

This is our Detailed Bulk Item Return Policy. Bulk Items (including but not limited to such items as Air Conditioners, Home Entertainment Systems and Refrigerators) cannot be returned to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) for refund or replacement service. Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the box your bulk item ships in before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the shipping box, or if the wrong product was sent, you must refuse delivery while the shipping courier is still on the premises. The item will be returned to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) and you will be refunded the full amount, including applicable shipping costs and tax.

If you determine upon inspection that the condition of the shipping box is satisfactory, an adult is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. By signing this release, you are acknowledging and agreeing to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com)'s Policy and Agreement. Understanding that you cannot return the television to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) and that the condition of the delivery meets your expectations. Manufacturer's Warranties

However, many of the products available through Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) are covered by Manufacturers' Warranties. If a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, it will be stated on that product's web page. Detailed manufacturer warranty information can also be obtained for free by contacting our Customer Service department. Please note that products in this category are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated.

Products that state "This item can be returned to the product manufacturer only" must be returned directly to the product manufacturer for repair or replacement, unless otherwise required by law. For these items, the warranty policy provided by the product manufacturer explicitly requires that any returns, repairs etc. be requested and processed directly by the consumer (or "end-user") of the item.

LCD Monitor Limited Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy

In order to declare any product with an LCD screen "defective" and eligible for replacement or refund through any applicable Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) Return Policy, there must be a minimum of 8 (eight) dead LCD pixels.

Television Limited Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy

This is our detailed Television Limited Non-Refundable 30-Day Return Policy. This policy includes (but is not limited to) CRT TVs, DLP TVs, Home Theater Projectors, LCD TVs, and Plasma TVs. For larger shipments: If you determine upon inspection that the condition of the shipping box is satisfactory, an adult (age 18 or older) is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. This is our Detailed Memory (Modules, USB) Return Policy. The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in your RMA being returned to you:

- Physically damaged Memory cannot be returned to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com).
- Modules that are missing the manufacturer label containing model number and part number
- Modules that are missing the manufacturer warranty label
- Modules that include a manufacturer-applied heat spreader, but have had the heat spreader removed
- "Kit" Modules (which contain 2 or more memory modules packaged together) that are not returned as complete set
- USB Drives, Thumb Drives, Flash Memory, or any related product that is returned without the cap or protective casing

All items returned for a refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Mail In Rebate Policy
Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable.

Products offering mail-in rebates are not returnable to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) once the rebates have been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace any defective item missing the UPC code.

DVD Movies
We now sell a wide variety of DVD Movies ranging from old time classics to the latest and upcoming releases. DVD Movies are not refundable, but can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date for a replacement of the same item. DVD Movies cannot be exchanged for a different item or DVD. If you have received a damaged or defective DVD Movie, you do not need to call for an RMA or attempt to obtain an RMA online; each movie includes a return label on the invoice, which can be used to return the DVD without the need for an RMA.

Combo Specials
Combo Specials include two items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Combo items may be returned for replacement within their applicable Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) Return Policy Period. If a Combo item is returned for a refund, the Combo Discount will be voided, and the discount amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. (For example, if your combo discount was $5, and you return one of the combo items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.)

Out-of-Stock (Back-Order) Items
Sometimes items are returned to Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) after the product has been discontinued. If Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, the item will be sent to our Back-Order RMA Department. You will be notified via email with two options: either Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) can send you a comparable replacement item, or a refund of the current market value of the product will be issued. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued.

Downloadable Software
Downloadable software is non-refundable once the download is complete. If you have purchased downloadable software, and did not download the software using the supplied download link, the software may be “returned” for a refund within 15 days of purchase. In order to process a refund for downloadable software a Letter of Destruction must be filled out completely and sent to our Customer Service Department. Please contact the Customer Service Department to obtain a copy of the Letter of Destruction.

Unlocked Mobile Phone Return Policy
·         Return for refund within: non-refundable
·         Return for replacement within: 30 days (defective items only)

This is our Detailed Unlocked Mobile Phone Return Policy. Under this policy all Unlocked Mobile Phones are non-refundable, and this supersedes all other return policies. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy. Any Unlocked Mobile Phone that is deemed defective may be returned for a replacement within 30 days only, but a request for refund will not be granted. If an Unlocked Mobile Phone is returned for a replacement, but no problems are found, the Unlocked Mobile Phone will be returned at your (the buyer’s) expense. You should be certain in your decision to purchase an Unlocked Mobile Phone and must agree to this policy before completing your order. By confirming your order, you indicate your agreement to this policy.

All other RMA issues regarding Unlocked Mobile Phones must be handled through the product manufacturer. Many of the products available through Worldwide Computer Distribution (www.wdc1.com) are covered by Manufacturers’ Warranties.
