There have been an increasing number of patients who survive the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Over the past 20 years there have been new local, state and federal laws that protect a cancer survivor's employment and insurance rights. This section will outline the laws from the federal government that are in place to protect you and your family from any discrimination following the diagnosis of cancer.
